Bourbon education is about more than just drinking bourbon. There’s an entire history and culture that goes along with it. I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know many of the historians and writers who have formed the bourbon culture as we know it today. What’s more, I meet new ones all the time, and their passion for bourbon’s many facets is infectious. Here are a few of the books and blogs I like to read, in no particular order, and this list is in no way all-inclusive. I’ll be adding to this as I go. Cheers! (NOTE: Many of these books are available at liquor stores and along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.) (Here’s a list of suggestions from Michael Veach.)
